Terms for using Veil AI in privacy-sensitive work.

Veil AI provides privacy-focused tooling for working with AI systems. In the standard workflow, the product is designed to identify and redact sensitive text in your browser before a sanitized prompt is sent onward to an AI model, API, or connected provider.

The service may also include pricing pages, checkout, waitlists, analytics, account controls, and related product features that support that privacy-first workflow.

You are responsible for how you use Veil AI and for the legality of the data and prompts you submit. You may not use the service in ways that harm others, break the law, or undermine the product's security and reliability.

• Use Veil AI only for lawful work and only with data you have the right to process.
• Do not use the service to facilitate malware, fraud, harassment, stalking, or unauthorized surveillance.
• Do not attempt to defeat, reverse engineer, or bypass Veil AI protections, rate limits, account controls, or payment flows.
• Do not rely on Veil AI as a substitute for your own compliance, confidentiality, or security obligations.

Veil AI is intended to reduce the amount of sensitive data that leaves your device in the standard workflow, but it is not a promise that every identifier, pattern, or confidential detail will always be detected or protected in every circumstance.

You remain responsible for reviewing outputs, choosing what data to submit, and applying the legal, contractual, and security controls appropriate for your organization and use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil AI and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil AI's total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Veil AI for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

• Veil AI offers a Free tier, a Pro plan at $19 per month, and a Team plan at $49 per month.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis unless a different term is shown at checkout.
• You may cancel a paid subscription before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future billing, and your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period unless required otherwise by law.
• Free features, limits, and plan terms may change over time. Pricing changes for paid plans will apply only after notice and a future renewal date.

Veil AI, including the product, branding, software, site design, copy, and related materials, is owned by Veil AI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service in accordance with these terms.

You retain rights to your own prompts and content, subject to the permissions you grant to processors and providers needed to operate the service for your requested workflow.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict of laws rules, except to the extent that applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
